EASY TREKKING

This is a trek going between snow capped Mt. Mururata (5.800 Mts. above sea level) and Illimani  (6.462 Mts. above sea level) and it leads us to warm subtropical zones. The beginning point is at Chuñuavi village (3.600 Mts.) the highest pass at Yunga Cruz (4.200 Mts.) and the end point is the subtropical zone at 1.8000 Mts.

SCHEDULE:

DAY 01: Departure from La Paz 7 am, trip three hours by vehicle transport to the village of Chuñuavi (2.800 Mts.);  Here ends vehicular transport. Here begin the trek and a 3 hours hike up before crossing the high pass will camp at 4000m.  

DAY 02: Trekking day: must begin early to crossing  the high pass “cerro khala ciudad 4400m” after the descend  a long journey  the trail down a ridge to reach  hacienda Chiquilini  1.800 Mts, long day trekking  12 hours, overnight camping

DAY 03: Hike and descend to Chulumani (1.852 Mts),  today half day  trekking 2-3 hours, arrival to Chulumani small city, overnight hotel

DAY 04: In the morning visit to the forest of Apa Apa. Afternoon to be picked up by vehicle transport, return to La Paz about four hour  and end our services.

DURATION: 4 DAYS – 3 NIGHT

SEASON: March – November

- Hotel in Chulumani and La Paz  Continental breakfast during your hotel accommodations, exclusive vehicle transport round trip, expert trekking guide, organised camping, collective camping equipment,two persons ten, cook and assistant, three meals a day during the expedition (FBP breakfast, lunch and dinner). Full kitchen equipment, kitchen ten, dining and mess tent, porters services for collective equipment, general assistance

NOT INCLUDE.

-  Personal trekking equipment, extra expenses during the expedition, tips,...etc.

VERY IMPORTANT:

We strongly advice, members of the Expedition must have the following personal trekking items:

-   Rucksack 70 Lt. Trekking boots, feather sleeping bag able to withstand temperatures –20oC for altitude site, light sleeping bag for tropical sites, respective mat and insulated pad, cold protective jacket / Gore-Tex, rain and wind jacket / anorak rain and cold protective pants, several pairs of good cold protective wool socks, good cold protective gloves, wool scarf, sun and cold protective caps, sun and cold protective creams, a lamp with new batteries, individual water bottle, personal first aid kit, warn clothing for altitude sites, warn clothing for tropical sites and a small notebook
